Contract Counselor

Summary: Clinicians are responsible for providing a range of clinically appropriate services to adults, children and families referred by TX Department of Family Protective Services

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Treatment services for adolescents are: individual and family therapy, play therapy with young children, and individual therapy for adults within an office setting or client's residence
• To provide clinical services such as intake/diagnostic evaluations, psycho-social assessments, prepare treatment plans, and use evidenced based interventions.
• To participate in quarterly scheduled service plan meetings for children.

• To comply with clinical productivity standards as established by Clinical Director. To participate in monthly peer case review.
• To maintain clinical records for judicial review paperwork.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline from an accredited educational institution.
• Two years of post-masters supervised clinical experience in multidisciplinary mental health setting. (one year of supervised clinical work in an organized graduate internship program may be substituted for each year of full-time experience).

Licensure: Must be licensed to practice in the State of Texas as an LMSW, LMFT, LCSW or LPC.
