Job Description:

This role focuses on efficient procurement and sourcing strategies within the Energy & Utilities category to support the organization’s business goals. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to achieve cost-effective and sustainable outcomes while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in global supplier strategy discussions to shape sourcing strategies and develop alternative solutions.
• Manage category compliance and align implementation strategies for the Energy and Renewable Energy category.
• Lead sourcing activities including RFI, RFP, e-sourcing, supplier onboarding, due diligence, negotiation, and contracting.
• Conduct project progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder relationships by proactively engaging with business partners to understand strategies and priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and compliance in procurement processes.
• Monitor and manage key supplier performance to meet business requirements.
• Stay informed on market trends, category developments, and data analytics to refine sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with centralized functions to ensure compliance with procurement processes.
• Achieve cost reduction and containment goals to meet Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) targets.
• Work with data analytics teams to extract, visualize, and interpret procurement data for decision-making.
• Support project management tasks, including planning, tracking, and follow-ups.
• Ensure timely signing and storage of utility contracts (electricity, gas, water, etc.) to maintain supply assurance.
• Contribute to business diversity and environmental sustainability goals.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent with 5+ years of regional procurement experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in Energy & Utilities procurement, including category strategy development, supplier relationship management, and project management.
• Experience with Ariba tools, including sourcing, contracting, and supplier data management.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical skills to extract insights and develop sourcing strategies.
• Excellent follow-up, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and influence decisions without direct authority.
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
• Self-starter capable of working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with conflicting priorities.
• Experience in conducting business reviews and executing communication plans.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
