Entry Level Legal Assistant

Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C., an “AV”-rated firm in downtown Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking to add a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team! Attention to detail is a must to succeed as a part of our team!
Position duties include but are not limited to:
- Work with a team and individually to perform legal support tasks as directed by supervisory staff
- Collaborate with other staff members on projects
- Open files
- Run database searches
- Data entry
- Draft letters
- Review and enter data accurately into several database systems
Job Requirements:
- Ability to multi-task
- Superior attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Semi-independent work standard
- Team-oriented attitude
- Able to identify problems and independently problem solve
- Strong computer knowledge
- Comply with firm and client compliance and timeline requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework a plus
- Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate excellent computer and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
- Previous mortgage servicing, foreclosure, bankruptcy, real estate, or law firm experience is a plus, but not required
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
