About Our Client

The client is a commercial bank that started in Japan. They are the third largest bank in Japan and offer services such as investment banking, global markets, and sales and trading.

• Assist in preparing accurate and timely journal entries in alignment with US GAAP standards
• Compile and deliver daily and monthly financial reports within designated deadlines
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and create customized reports as needed
• Support the implementation and maintenance of effective internal controls to meet audit and regulatory expectations
• Collaborate on finance related initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reporting practices
• Contribute to a strong financial governance framework, addressing feedback from management and external stakeholders

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Posses at least 2 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related area
• Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Familiarity with US GAAP principles and financial reporting processes is essential
• Exhibits strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
