Robert Half is seeking an organized and professional Administrative Assistant for a well-established and respected law firm in the Quad Cities. As the firm grows, this newly developing role provides the opportunity to support an accomplished attorney expanding their team.Your role will involve critical administrative tasks, from typing dictation and scheduling to client communication, case tracking, and managing court dates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming phone calls and inquiries
- Manage client interactions, including scheduling and communication
- Prepare and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, subpoenas, and correspondence
- Assist with dictation, drafting correspondence, and e-filing as needed
- Conduct research, scan, retrieve, and organize records
- Oversee and maintain case files for easy accessibility

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 2+ years in a fast-paced office setting; legal experience is appreciated but not required.
- Skills: Strong technical proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with the ability to type 45-60+ wpm.
- Attributes: Exceptional organization, prioritization, and attention to detail; excellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading abilities.
