Electro Mechanic

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for mechanics and electrical systems? We’re seeking a talented Electro Maintenance Mechanic to play a key role in keeping our fast-paced manufacturing facility running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform essential Mechanic III duties, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.
• Follow plant safety protocols, including LOTO and safe machine operation.
• Work with electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot motors, contractors, relays, and use multimeters for component checks.
• Operate advanced equipment like bandsaws, mills, and lathes.
• Maintain and repair chillers, compressors, and pumps (ink, glue, and process).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls and PLCs.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Document repairs and maintain an organized parts inventory.

What You’ll Bring:

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a high-speed environment.
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Great communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18–24 months of maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing setting.
• Electrical maintenance experience, with PLC and control circuit troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work at heights (70-foot towers).

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow plant safety rules including LOTO and safe machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, specifications and technical data.
• Ability to work on motors, contractors and relays with a multimeter to verify component functionality.
• Ability to work on advanced shop equipment such as bandsaws, mills and lathes.
• Must be able to work on Chillers, Process pumps, compressors, ink pumps and Glue pumps.
• Analyze and resolve all mechanical, electrical issues related to the equipment.
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of electrical controls/PLCs including troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
• Responsible for maintaining all manufacturing process equipment by performing preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, routine repairs and calibration with minimal down time.
• Perform all duties in a safe, professional and efficient manner.
• Diagnose root cause of problems with production equipment to determine best solution: electrical or mechanical.
• Document parts used, and repairs completed in the CMMS. Assist in maintaining appropriate stock of spare parts and parts room is organized.Perform necessary repairs, preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance on plant production equipment and facilities equipment
