Sr. Accountant

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will be part of our team in the manufacturing industry, handling a variety of accounting activities related to the production and distribution of goods within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and balance sheets
• Oversee the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
• Engage in cost accounting activities: including standard cost development, average pricing analysis, margin and variance analysis, and inventory control management
• Prepare and consolidate financial statements such as profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Participate in budgeting processes and financial forecasting
• Assist in financial audit processes and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
• Develop and maintain internal control processes
• Reconcile account balances and bank statements, maintain general ledger and prepare month-end close procedures
• Analyze financial reports and implement strategies for cost reduction
• Utilize various accounting software and tools such as Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, and Microsoft Excel to perform tasks efficiently. • Must possess skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries is necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Excel Formulas and Excel VBA, is required.
• Familiarity with Month End Close processes is essential.
• Knowledge and experience with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP are required.
• Experience in the Manufacturing sector, particularly with Manufactured Products and Food Production, is necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Business Intelligence and Macola is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Excelsius and Process Excellence is desirable.
• Ability to work with Cloud ERP systems is essential.
• A strong understanding of the manufacture process is required.
