We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Contractor Connect - Claims Assistant in East Hartford, Connecticut. This role functions in the insurance industry and involves general support of claims representatives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to claims representatives in their day-to-day operations.
• Conduct computer-based searches to locate file locations.
• Perform clerical tasks as required to ensure efficient office operations.
• Utilize keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft Windows for various tasks.
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of insurance claims.
• Maintain and organize numeric filing systems.
• Utilize strong communication skills to handle inquiries and issues.
• Sort and match documents to respective files.
• Foster a team-oriented environment through collaborative efforts. • Proficiency in insurance principles and claim administration
• Experience in performing detail-oriented duties in a setting
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with contractors and clients
• Familiarity with Windows OS and related software
• Possess strong keyboard skills for efficient data entry
• Ability to manage numeric filing systems effectively
• Experience in photocopying and scanning documents, ensuring their proper storage and retrieval
