Accounts Payable Clerk

We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Clerk in Pico Rivera, California. This role involves a variety of tasks related to accounts payable within the industry, providing the right candidate with an excellent opportunity to gain experience and advance their career.

• Ensure accurate and timely data entry of invoices into the system
• Respond promptly and professionally to emails directed to the accounts payable email
• Maintain and manage the accounts payable email, ensuring all correspondence is addressed
• Perform regular check runs to keep accounts current
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP software in the processing and management of accounts payable
• Conduct account reconciliation to verify that all transactions are accounted for and properly posted
• Handle coding invoices accurately to ensure proper categorization of expenses
• Stay on top of invoice processing, ensuring all invoices are paid on time
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records
• Take responsibility for regular filing tasks to keep all accounts payable documents organized. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential
• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is a must
• Familiarity with Check Runs is required
• Ability to handle Coding Invoices efficiently
• Strong Data Entry skills are necessary
• Prior experience with Invoice Processing is expected
• Competency in Microsoft Excel is necessary
• Familiarity with Oracle software is a plus
• QuickBooks knowledge is desirable
• Proficiency in SAP software is highly beneficial
