The Senior Accountant will sit in the Manassas, VA area.
Job Description- Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Record and organize financial transactions to ensure accurate and compliant financial statements.
- Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain updated financial records.
- Analyze account books for efficiency and accuracy, recommending improvements where necessary.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Provide recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

The Successful Applicant- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with a preference for those with manufacturing industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, US tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently.
