In this vital role, the select individual will oversee all aspects of medical billing and collections, including working with different types of insurances including HMO, PPO, Medicare, and Medi-Cal. The ideal candidate will be experienced in auditing, reviewing denial trends, and creating effective policies and procedures.

The Manager of a Medical Billing Department must have 5 years of experience and UB04/CMS1500 experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of medical billing and collections. Work closely with various insurance providers including HMO, PPO, Medicare, and Medi-Cal.
- Audit and review denial trends, identifying potential areas of concern and implementing corrective measures.
- Develop and implement effective billing policies and procedures.
- Manage a team of up to 12 permanent employees, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to medical billing and collections.
- Collaborate with financial and medical personnel for seamless operational flow.
- Generate reports and present analysis on billing activities for senior management.
