IT Director

We are seeking an IT Director in North Miami Beach, Florida, to join our team. In this role, you will be overseeing the technology infrastructure and systems that are crucial for our daily operations and innovative academic program. You will collaborate with various teams, faculty, and staff to develop and manage the technology roadmap for improvements.

• Collaborate with leadership teams, faculty, and staff to develop and manage the technology roadmap.
• Incorporate innovative technologies that support teaching, learning, and administrative operations.
• Provide strategic leadership, planning, and management to all areas of information technology.
• Work closely with academic leadership to develop strategies for integrating technology into the curriculum.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of technical expertise.
• Manage the development, installation, and maintenance of information systems and IT Support teams.
• Ensure proficiency in Blackbaud, Microsoft Office, Apple, Google apps for Education and Windows Servers, Fortinet & Cisco Networking environments.
• Stay updated on current network/server technologies, data backup strategies, and security issues.
• Supervise people and manage projects and programs; forecast and manage complex budgets.
• Experience in managing technology systems in a school environment would be advantageous. • Must have a proven track record in a similar IT Director role
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Cisco Technologies and Cloud Technologies
• Proficiency in CRM and Database management
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems and Backup Technologies
• Strong understanding of Computer Hardware and Contracts
• Experience in managing Deployments and Design controls
• Proven skills in Disaster Recovery and Disaster Recovery Plan
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Enterprise
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
