WHAT YOULL DO

Reporting to the Manager of the CloudLaunch team, Global TSG Infrastructure, you will work as an individual contributor focused on Bains self-service cloud development platform. CloudLaunch is an automated infrastructure and development self-service platform that enables Bain employees to build, develop, innovate and analyze on all three major public cloud providers without any additional approval processes.
A successful candidate will have a desire to learn more about leveraging infrastructure as code (IaC) to provide secure and scalable solutions for AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. This person will have an opportunity to interact with a variety of teams spanning enterprise IT, product engineering, data analytics and more.

The fast pace of change in Cloud technologies requires this person to be innately curious, quick to learn, devoted to best practices, and results-driven.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

You will assist with testing and updating infrastructure as code modules and templates

You will support ongoing automation efforts across all three major cloud providers

You will monitor cloud performance and security

You will assist with security remediation at scale via automation

You will troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues

You will work with CRUD API and serverless technologies

You will develop or update technical documentation for new capabilities

You will collaborate with DevOps and Development teams

You will stay up-to-date with cloud trends and emerging services

ABOUT YOU

Interest in/knowledge of public cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, and GCP)

Excellent communication and organization skills

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines

Ability to grasp new requirements, technologies, tools, and concepts quickly

Takes pride in work and cares about delivering a quality result every time

Awareness of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts is a plus but not required

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Full-time availability (e.g., Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week) throughout the internship duration

Located in or able to be located in Boston for the duration of the internship

Candidates should not be enrolled in ongoing courses or have competing academic responsibilities during this internship

Strong time management skills and ability to commit fully to the role
