Job Summary Statement:
The Sales operations lead (by Channel) is a pivotal entry level role responsible for overseeing and optimizing sales operations within a specific channel (Sporting Goods, Commercial & Premium, Drug & Grocery). This position ensures the effective execution of sales strategies, process improvements, and data analysis to help the sales team drive performance and achieve revenue goals.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Resource Management: Sales operation lead will provide support to Sales managers/directors to enhance their experience and relationship with our retailers. Build a better service to our retailers omni-channel strategy both instore and online.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales productivity and efficiency within the channel. Ensure consistent application of best practices and standard operating procedures. (e.g. Retailer set up forms, New account set up forms, PRF/SMU forms, UL/Quality forms)
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement. Build sales presentations to assist with Sales to help tell our brand and product stories.
- Team Building: Working within a business pod supported with Sales, Sales operations, customer service and Logistics. Create an atmosphere of visionary by fostering an environment where individuals can see and pursue their career.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, product and other departments to ensure alignment and support for channel specific sales initiatives. Drive effective communication and collaboration across teams to achieve common goals.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: High School Degree or higher
- English language skills: Ability to respond professionally and effectively in both written and oral form.
- Math skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts in the development of forecasts, budgets, pricing, reporting, etc.
- Physical Demands essential to the job: Ability to travel (15-20%), work some extended hours. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
