Tax Preparer

Your role will be critical in maintaining accurate customer credit records and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual tax returns with accuracy and efficiency
• Handle corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws
• Utilize Drake Tax Software for processing and managing tax returns
• Keep accurate records of customer credit applications
• Resolve customer inquiries related to tax preparation and returns
• Use Creative Solutions for tax-related tasks
• Process Form 1099 and Form 1120 as part of tax preparation
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Tax Preparer role or similar
• Proficiency in Drake Tax Software
• Experience in preparing individual tax returns
• Experience in preparing corporate tax returns
• Knowledge of Creative Solutions software
• Strong skills in tax preparation
• Familiarity with Form 1099 and Form 1120
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly
• Commitment to staying updated on current tax laws and regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Certification as a Tax Preparer is a plus
