Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes a solutions-oriented sales strategy that increases the value we bring to our customers base in order to generate strong annual growth in revenue and gross margin bookings.
  • Leads and mentors outside and inside salespeople.
  • Works closely with the team to grow the pipeline.
  • Develops key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for growing the company’s customer base, including the business opportunity with systems integrators.
  • Jointly collaborates and mentors' sales team during the cycle of closing complex and high value business including prospecting, RFP responses, presentations, negotiation, and contract development.
  • Broadens and strengthens existing relationships with sales leadership at existing OEM partners and build new relationships with OEMs
  • Plans, manages, and executes at both the strategic and operational levels.
  • Leads initiatives to drive customer awareness and engagement through in person customer meetings and marketing programs
  • Crosses and upsells existing accounts.
  • Maintains accurate sales forecasting.
  • Effectively collaborates with highly matrixed organization and establish positive relationships across all functions.
  • Directs and oversees the sales function, ensuring that established revenue and profit goals are met.
  • Coaches and directs the work of multiple sales teams who are responsible for selling organizational products or services.
  • Establishes sales goal for teams and individuals and tracks performance against expectations.
  • Provides sales forecasts or related reports to senior management for use in strategic planning.
  • Monitors pricing, sales volume, and product mix to ensure that organizational goals are met.
  • May oversee sales support, sales administration, or sales engineering functions. In-depth understanding of the field's concepts and principles. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination. Supervision is often provided through a team of subordinate managers.
  • Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management.
  • Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years in IT federal government sales.
  • Proven successful experience in leading outside and inside salespeople.
  • Excellent communication including presentation and executive engagement skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • A self-starter that can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Experience in sales coaching and mentoring.
  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.
  • You must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19.

Pay Range (The pay range for this job level is provided as general guidance only, and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) the responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreements (if any), and other laws): $134,522.12 - $229,101.36
