Immediate Opening for an HR Manager at company in Hotel/Hospitality industry - Miami

Location: Near Miami Airport

Schedule: Mon-Fri; 9-6 In office

Overview: Reputable Hotel brand on a Global scale offering a full package of benefits and employee perks. The Miami location has a great culture with long-term employees. Bilingual English and Spanish highly preferred.

Schedule: In office; 9-6

Salary: $80-$90,000

The Human Resources Manager performs an array of duties and is responsible for maintaining overall policies, compliance and payroll with an emphasis on employee relations.
  • Reports to the local hotel General Manager and Director of Human Resources in another state
  • Supervises a Human Resources Generalist clerk
  • Maintains compliance, documentation and following regulations such as for FMLA
  • Places an emphasis on Employee Relations and in keeping a great culture with continued retention
  • Engages with staff extending an open door policy for communication, addressing questions, concerns or other talent retention
  • Performs standard Generalist duties including talent hiring process, onboarding and open enrollment
  • Experienced with employee Investigations and documentation, notices, performance reviews, or necessary terminations
  • Oversees Payroll processing via ADP for 160 employees including time sheets, vacation, garnishments etc.
  • Ability to communicate with candidates in Both English and Spanish is a plus
  • Experience from Hotel or Hospitality is a plus and/or a Corporate brand on a Global or Nationwide scale
  • Bachelors Degree preferred

Min of 3 years as a Human Resources Manager

Experience with Generalist duties including Compliance, FMLA, Employee Relations and Investigations

Payroll processing via ADP or any similar software for 150 employees minimum

Bachelors Degree preferred

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Any Hotel or Hospitality Industry is a plus
