Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join their growing team. As the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by managing and expanding the client base. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead a team of sales professionals while cultivating new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the staffing industry, a strong network within the technical staffing industry and a proven track record of sales success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales goals and KPIs.
- Will get paid 2.5 % overrides on current GM ($1,500-$2k per month)
- 1 direct report and 3 indirect reports
- Provide structure (reporting, ensuring focusing on the right tasks, redirecting and nudging them) and train to understand rigor of running multiple projects
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate new business and expand existing client relationships.
- Actively prospect and build relationships with potential clients in technical staffing.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with recruitment teams to understand client needs and ensure the right talent is provided.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback to the sales team.
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports, tracking progress toward individual and team goals.
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to enhance company visibility and growth.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Light Industrial or Manufacturing staffing experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the staffing landscape
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Progression into District Manager, Regional Manager and Regional Vice President
- Bachelors degree
Benefits:
- Commission will be 5% on GM of Temp and 10% for perm and 2.5% override for other business.
