Overview:

Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately a Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator.

$31.05 Per Hour

This position will be responsible for monitoring, directing and responding to security and safety issues while ensuring the appropriate response is deployed efficiently and effectively.

Applicants need to be flexible with their schedule and willing to work weekends, day, evenings, overnights and holidays, if needed.

Qualifications:

A Security Operations Center (GSOC) operator plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of an organization’s assets, personnel, and information on a global scale. The primary function of GSOC is to detect, analyze, and respond to customer impacting incidents.

The GSOC is crucial for protecting the studio's assets, employees, and customers. They do this by actively monitoring and managing security operations and resources.

Answer emergency and non-emergency requests via:

Monitor and compile information on site incidents for incident summaries
  • Generate reports for security leadership
  • Zinc

Use available resources to provide information to the Protective Services (SPS) team

Maintain an open line of communication with The Culver Steps (TCS) Security Command Center.
  • Share alarm response details with the BAC via:

Follow the escalation process for Zone 4 and Zone 6 alarms
  • SOC dispatches appropriate rover to the location of the alarm
  • Report the finding provided by the rover in the appropriate Chime group
  • Initiate the proper mitigation process (If needed): Follow the SOP protocols

Zog all requests in the appropriate tracking platforms:

  • Sim-T
  • Airtable

Inform security personnel and field units about requests and pertinent information

Monitor and manage unlock requests and escorts

Address security issues and work with Shift Supervisors to suggest solutions
  • Generate Sim-T for all camera / badge reader issues
  • Generate Sim-T for general maintenance issues
  • Follow-up on maintenance Sim-T and escalate where necessary
  • Assist with updating the communication on Sim-T requests pertaining to SPS escorts
Proper radio communication with security personnel and TCS Security Command Center
  • Manage and track the status of requests for the security personnel and other personnel
Respond to phone calls and emails consistently
  • Utilizing the approved greeting
  • Reference the approved email templates and email signatures
Assist with badging requests after hours
  • Printing
  • Managing access levels
Monitor Lenel system
  • Access control
  • Video Surveillance

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid state security guard card.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, grammar, spelling and writing skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisions in emergency situations.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, cyber security, information technology, emergency management and/or business administration, or certifications in related fields preferred
  • Type 55 to 75 words per minute.
  • An understanding of security operations and Incident Command Systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize your assigned task in a timely manner.
  • A great communicator that gets the value of teamwork.
  • Comfortable in an ever changing, fast paced, and stressful environment.
  • Proven experience working as a dispatcher, call center representative and/or security command center operator.
  • Must successfully pass Pre-Employment background check.
  • Must have Security Guard Card.
