Position Overview:
As the Electrical Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our electrical department, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. You will work closely with project managers and technicians to streamline processes, manage resources, and uphold the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electrical technicians, engineers, and support staff to drive project success.
- Project Management: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of electrical projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations, conducting regular audits to maintain quality and safety.
- Client Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing project updates, feedback, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Resource Management: Allocate and monitor resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency.
- Cost Control: Manage project budgets, control expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical project management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
