Sr. LAMP Drupal Developer (Remote)

Overview:

• Tier One Technologies is seeking a LAMP Drupal Developer for our US Government client located in Arlington, VA.
• This will be a 100% remote contract-to-hire position.
• SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain the OIG’s Drupal environment and provide the OIG with high‐quality web and mobile application solutions.
• Install and configure LAMP‐stack based Drupal environments in a cloud environment.
• Experience and knowledge in utilizing cloud providers, specifically Azure, Equinix, Amazon, and/or Aquilent.
• Train and support government personnel on Drupal best practices and implementation of Drupal sites.
• Custom PHP development to meet OIG business requirements.
• Addressing and remediating security vulnerability findings in Drupal.
• Administer, manage and support LAMP stack environments (Ubuntu OS).
• Expert knowledge in the use of Drupal to build Enterprise‐level Web Applications and best practices within Drupal Community.
• Adept at leveraging new approaches to solutions for system design and functionality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields preferred.
• 5+ years of web development experience with in‐depth knowledge of PHP/MySQL/Drupal/JQuery.
• 5+ years of Drupal 9/10 development & administration (updates and upgrades).
• Expertise in PHP 8 and HTML/CSS.
• Prior experience in setting up and configuring Drupal environments, administering/managing LAMP stack Linux environments, successfully researching and remediating IT security vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with Government regulations pertaining to websites (e.g., 508 Compliance).
• Familiarity with Mobile‐first / responsive application design.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (JQuery, JSON and AJAX).
• Moderate knowledge of Photoshop/Adobe CS (or similar editing software).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen or have US Permanent Residence status (Green Card).
• Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years and have not traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in the last 5 years.
