Staff Accountant

Location: Hudson, MA (on-site)

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Purpose & Scope: This role will be responsible for supporting the company's financial operations through accurate and timely reporting and compliance with regulations and standards.

Essential Duties May Include:

• Maintaining financial records and performing account reconciliations
• Compiling and reviewing financial documents, reports, and statements for accuracy
• Recording and posting journal entries and tracking expenses or other financial transactions
• Performing analysis and reconciliations on bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist with any AP/AR discrepancies by researching and resolving issues
• Aiding management with inventory and product costs reviews
• Assisting in the month end closing process

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (Accounting & Finance related) required
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/inventory preferred
• Skilled with MS Excel and QuickBooks
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail are a must!
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
