Position Summary

The Group Sales Manager is responsible for driving group ticket sales and partnerships across Sloomoo Institute's locations, reporting directly to the CEO. This individual will be solely responsible for managing group bookings, developing sales strategies, and identifying revenue growth opportunities.

The role requires a strategic, hands-on approach to both outbound and inbound sales, with a strong focus on relationship-building and delivering revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and sell OTA, third party resellers, student (field trips/camp), international group bookings.
  • Manage the entire group booking process, from inquiry to completion, ensuring excellent customer experiences.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive group ticket sales growth in collaboration with the CEO.
  • Establish and grow relationships with key partners to drive sales and meet objectives.
  • Ensure group customers have a seamless booking experience by maintaining close communication throughout the process.
  • Efficiently manage the sales pipeline using CRM systems and internal tools.
  • In collaboration with marketing develop sales collateral, direct mail and email campaigns.
  • Review and analyze sales performance data regularly to adjust strategies for better outcomes.
  • Organize and represent Sloomoo at industry events and conferences.
  • Ensure group ticket sales account for 10% of total ticket sales revenue.
  • Achieve and maintain 80% price integrity for group sales.
  • Build lasting relationships that lead to 65% annual group sales retention.
  • Ensure that 35% of annual group sales come from new business and partnerships.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in hospitality, attractions, events, or a similar industry.
  • Experience with group sales, event planning, or partnership development is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong project management abilities with the capability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales management tools.
  • A positive, energetic attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
