Description:
Markon is seeking a Systems Engineer with extensive experience in Jira customization and administration to support an intelligence customer. This role will focus on optimizing and customizing Jira workflows, dashboards, and reports to meet our client’s operational needs
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Jira Super User and primary point of contact for Jira administration and customization.
- Tailor Jira configurations to align with customer-specific project requirements and workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and design customized Jira solutions.
- Create, maintain, and enhance Jira dashboards, workflows, fields, permissions, notifications, and other configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Jira-related issues in a timely manner.
- Train team members and end-users on Jira features, functionality, and best practices.
- Ensure Jira data integrity and manage access controls.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 in a Systems Engineer or similar role with advanced knowledge of Jira administration and customization.
- Proven ability to configure and optimize Jira, including workflows, custom fields, and permissions. Strong analytical skills to translate customer requirements into technical configurations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- TS/SCI FS Polygraph level clearance requiredPreferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with federal government contracting environments and regulations.
- Experience providing Jira training to teams or individuals.
- Knowledge of other Atlassian tools, such as Confluence or Bitbucket, is a plus.
Salary Range: USD $160,000.00 - USD $210,000.00 /Yr.
