Job Description
  • Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to set quality standards and expectations.
  • Formulate and uphold quality control objectives that align with corporate goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality regulations, including ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100:2016.
  • Assist in ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100:2016 audits.
  • Recommend and specify needs for instrumentation, calibration, and gauging.
  • Interpret drawings, verify production requirements, and prepare PPAP documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members on purchases, procedures, product specifications, and project status.
  • Create and implement inspection criteria and procedures throughout the production cycle.
  • Coordinate with other plant managers to enhance product reliability and control costs.
  • Utilize total quality management tools and methodologies for analytical and reporting processes.
  • Ensure the quality of purchased parts by working closely with vendors.
  • Develop and oversee environmental test functions.
  • Actively participate in quality management teams and design training programs for key personnel.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to quality.
  • Attend team meetings as needed, including those focused on safety and problem-solving.

The Successful Applicant
  • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance and safety.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards.
  • Experience with PPAP preparation and internal audits.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English.
  • Background in the powder coating industry.
