Key Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Manager:

• Assist the VP of Finance in overseeing the entire tax compliance process.
• Review year-end tax workpapers and investor K-1 packages.
• Prepare quarterly tax estimates for General Partner entities.
• Manage annual foreign filings and review federal and state tax returns.
• Support tax analyses for distributions and complex GP allocations.
• Conduct tax analysis for portfolio company acquisitions and restructurings.
• Process U.S. federal tax withholding and state tax payments.
• Maintain accurate tax accounts, including 704(b) basis.
• Provide support to the Director of Finance - Management Company on tax matters.
• Review quarterly tax estimates and year-end workpapers/K-1 packages.
• Develop tax strategies for Management Company Members.
• 5-9 years of tax compliance experience
• Bachelor's degree and CPA license required
• Experience focused on asset management funds specially in Venture Capital
• Hungry, intelligent, humble with no ego; analytical thinker/problem solver
• Strong foundation in tax; relied on for tax implications and changes
• Self-starter, proactive in learning and improvement
