Clinical instructors play a vital role in the education of our students through their whole student life cycle. Our Clinical Instructors are responsible for developing students professionalism and intellectual growth.

ATS Institute Of Technology has been successfully helping students achieve their educational goals since 1998. We are currently seeking an experienced Nurse Educator who appreciates working with students in a Clinical setting.

The Clinical Instructor Responsibilities
  • Teach students how to perform duties in the clinical settings
  • Supervise the care provided by a group of students
  • Work with students at post conferences
  • Coordinate with clinical site staff to make student patient assignments
  • Work with classroom instructors to align curriculum and meet educational goals
  • Evaluate students' clinical work.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, instructional seminars and in-service training sessions

We are seeking instructors who have experience and specialized skills in Adult Health, Medical Surgical, and/or Intensive Care.

Requirements
  • A minimum of a baccalaureate degree in nursing from an academic institution accredited by a regional or nationally accredited agency that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Education or administration training preferred, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Illinois required.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a registered nurse.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a nurse educator in an educational institution or healthcare environment.
  • Designated nursing areas are: Medical/Surgical, Adult Health, Intensive Care.
  • Direct patient care experience within the previous year in a clinical setting or as a nursing instructor.
