Personal Injury Legal Secretary

This is a part-time, Monday through Wednesday 9-5 position.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the process of discovery and interrogatories in personal injury cases
• Manage the request for production process, ensuring all relevant documents are compiled and sent out in a timely manner
• Review documents with clients, explaining the contents and implications of each document to ensure client understanding
• Utilize Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), and Case Management Software for various tasks
• Handle briefing responsibilities, preparing clear, concise, and comprehensive briefs on assigned cases
• Oversee calendar management, ensuring all important dates and deadlines are noted and adhered to
• Maintain strong client relations, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and addressing any concerns or queries they may have
• Handle billing functions, ensuring all client billing is accurate and timely
• Utilize knowledge of Personal Injury Litigation and Personal Injury Law in the execution of duties
• Leverage Consumer Electronics to enhance efficiency and productivity in the role.
• 1+ year of recent law firm experience, personal injury experience preferred
• Experience in personal injury litigation, including the preparation of legal documents and court appearances.
• Deep understanding of personal injury law, including its principles and practices.
• Experience in dealing with personal injury plaintiffs, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed
