Medical Billing Specialist

We are seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join our FinTech team based in New York, New York. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be tasked with handling special projects in response to an increased workload. Your primary responsibilities will include managing Medicaid billing, adjusting claims, and ensuring the accuracy of claim information input into the system.

• Handle special projects as assigned to manage increased workload
• Manage Medicaid billing tasks
• Adjust and resubmit claims as necessary
• Research and review client accounts for accuracy and completeness
• Follow up with providers to clarify and resolve issues
• Ensure all claim information is accurately entered into the system
• Leverage knowledge of Millin and Excel to accomplish tasks efficiently
• Handle client intake and maintain accurate records
• Navigate health insurance and healthcare insurance systems
• Process medical claims and insurance claims efficiently. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the role of Medical Billing Specialist or similar position within the FinTech industry
• Proven expertise in Medical Billing procedures and protocols
• Proficiency in Client Intake processes, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Solid understanding of Health Insurance policies and procedures
• Familiarity with HealthCare Insurance systems and requirements
• Experience in Medicaid Billing, with a focus on adherence to state and federal regulations
• Demonstrated ability to handle Insurance Claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Proficiency in managing Medical Claims, with attention to detail and a commitment to minimizing errors
