Speaker Coach

As our Speaker Coach (Booked and Paid to Speak Elite Coach aka “Speaker Coach”), you are responsible for supporting our Elite students with an above-and-beyond experience so that their success in our program is non-negotiable.

This is a part-time (25 hours a week) salaried position reporting to our Lead Speaker Coach.

Requirements
  • Complete your duties as outlined as a part-time coach to assist our students, being available, between the hours agreed upon with your Director (in your North American time zone) Monday - Friday.
  • Maintain and conduct, 20-25, 1:1 Elite coaching, 30-min. Sessions / per week, and maintain your availability for 60 days into the future at all times.
  • Manage your allocated administrative time for maximum productivity, for the following activities:
  • Complete coaching call administrative tasks as it pertains to each student - call notes, follow-up correspondence, tickets, extension requests, managing your time and calendar
  • Attend monthly TSL team meetings (meeting is 60 minutes/meeting
  • Attend bi-weekly Student Success team meetings (meeting is 60 minutes/meeting)
  • Attend coaching team meetings monthly
  • Daily M-F interactions within our community to coach, celebrate, and support our students
  • Additional Duties Included, that offset the amount of coaching sessions that need to be made available, include the following:
  • Lead 1 Elite Accountability Calls/per month (60 mins. Each / deduct 2 coaching sessions for each of these calls for the week conducted)
  • Lead 1, SPEAK Live group calls per month (90 mins. Each / deduct 3 coaching sessions for each of these calls for the week conducted)
  • Attend monthly Student Success coaching meeting
  • 1:1 sessions with the Director of Student Success, Lead Coach, CEO, or HR (15 - 30 minutes each / deduct 1 session for these meetings)
  • SST tasks/projects as needed or asked by manager or Director
  • A few other notes:
  • We want this to be the best experience you’ve ever had working with an organization. We also want this to be a huge level up for you so whatever the next thing you do is, you’ll have learned tons of valuable stuff with us that allows that to happen.
  • We don’t expect you to be on standby, but we expect a reasonable level of responsiveness during normal business hours.
  • This is a part time position with opportunity to become full time.

Qualifications:

  • Coaching certification and have been coaching for 1-5 years
  • You’re great with people and love helping others succeed
  • You have a knack for helping others get crystal clear and create a roadmap to success.
  • You’re upbeat and positive
  • You aren’t hesitant to pick up the phone or hop on a Zoom call to help a student be successful
  • Incredibly organized and detail-oriented
  • Obsessed with coaching students to their greatness!
  • We don’t expect you to be on-call 24/7 but we do expect a high level of responsiveness to our students and team during normal business hours (M-F, 8a-5p CST).
