Grant Accountant

You will ensure compliance with policies, prepare reports, and assist in budgeting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing and updating of grants and contracts master schedule, taking into account renewals, reporting, and invoicing dates.
• Assist in establishing and ensuring adherence to grants and contracts policies and procedures.
• Prepare comprehensive budgets, reports, and invoices for grants and contracts in a timely fashion.
• Act as a liaison between our organization and government agencies, ensuring compliance with their policies and procedures for our grants and contracts.
• Assist in the preparation of schedules, analyses, and documents for financial audits and funders.
• Participate in meetings to discuss receivables and expenditures related to grants and contracts.
• Provide support to colleagues in strategizing to maximize revenue and complete cost recovery.
• Serve as a resource for colleagues in understanding and fulfilling the internal and external requirements of grants and contracts.
• Carry out additional duties related to grants management as required.
• Proficiency in performing all Accounting Functions
• Extensive experience in Auditing
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Knowledge in Capital Management
• Proficiency in using Sage Intacct highly preferred but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Grant Accounting specific to Non-Profit industry
