IT Manager

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an IT Manager based in Hampton, South Carolina. This role is within the IT industry, with the incumbent being part of a two-member team supporting a larger group of 230 end-users. The role is hybrid in nature, with the opportunity to work from home for three days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Provide technical support to end users, addressing their needs and resolving their inquiries effectively.
• Monitor and administer Cisco technologies within the organization.
• Oversee the management of Active Directory services to ensure efficient user and resource administration.
• Implement and manage backup technologies to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct configuration management tasks to maintain and enhance system functionality.
• Provide end-user training on IT systems and protocols to enhance user competence and system utilization.
• Perform varied IT tasks as required, demonstrating the ability to handle a diverse range of responsibilities. • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco Technologies.
• Proficiency in using Active Directory.
• Experience with Backup Technologies.
• Familiarity with Computer Hardware and its troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in Configuration Management.
• Ability to provide End User Training.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Superior problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong understanding of project management principles.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
