We are seeking a Temp Receptionist to join our team located in NEW YORK, New York. As a Receptionist, your primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, managing customer interactions, facilitating communication, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

This role will require you to be onsite 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the reception area is well-maintained and welcoming to all visitors, including vendors.
  • Coordinating the check-in procedures for members attending on-site meetings and programs.
  • Supervising the opening and closing of member spaces.
  • Accurately relaying messages and making visitor announcements.
  • Undertaking other tasks as assigned by the management.
  • Maintaining a consistent detail-oriented demeanor while interacting with people in a customer service capacity.
  • Efficiently managing and prioritizing workload.
  • Proficiency in utilizing PC software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Oracle.
  • Flexibly and cooperatively handling various assignments.
  • Expedite multiple tasks and job functions accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicating effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Ensuring attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Capably working independently without constant supervision.
  • Must be able to efficiently manage an answering multi-line phone system.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are required.
  • Must be proficient in data entry tasks.
  • Should be adept at handling email correspondence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Must be comfortable with using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word is necessary.
  • Should be capable of organizing files efficiently.
  • Must have the ability to schedule appointments effectively.
