Hatton Veterinary Hospital, located in the heart of California, is searching for an Associate DVM to join our Elk Grove team.
We're looking for an Associate who:
- Has 2+ years of clinical experience in a small animal hospital
- Loves companion animal medicine (any special interests are welcome!)
- Is confident, capable, and thrives in ever changing environments
- Is a team player and motivated to learn and grow
- Wants to join a dedicated team where everyone is willing to lend a helping hand
- Understands the importance of client education and communicates effectively, compassionately, and respectfully
- Is licensed (or able to become licensed) in the state of California
- We have been working with cats, dogs, and birds at our Elk Grove location for more than 26 years!
- Our clientele is wonderful and stable, just like our support staff
- We have 4 talented doctors plus an additional relief DVM
- Our support team is well-utilized and includes 4 RVTs!
- We function as a paper-lite hospital (Avimark)
- We are well-equipped with IDEXX in-house lab equipment, digital xrays, digital dental xrays, a full surgical suite, and pharmacy

Flexible scheduling:
While we are looking to hire a full-time role, those interested in part-time are also encouraged to apply. Our current hours are 8am-6pm on weekdays and 8am-4pm on Saturdays. Regular Saturday coverage is required for this role (2 Saturdays each month).There are no on-call services or emergency hours required for this role.
