Position Summary:
The primary duty of the Competitive Meet Technician is to assist Meet Tech Staff in set-up/tear-down for events and operating timing/judging equipment.
This role pays an hourly wage of $15 to $17.
Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.

About the Venue:
Since its grand opening in 2011, the Greensboro Aquatic Center (GAC) has emerged as one of the top aquatic facilities in the nation. A state-of-the-art facility featuring cutting edge concepts in aquatic design, the GAC is located on the campus of the Coliseum Complex, the premier sports and entertainment facility in the Southeast.
The Coliseum Complex (the first and biggest building on the site), is an entertainment and sports complex located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Opened in 1959, the complex holds eight venues that includes an amphitheater, arena, aquatic center, banquet hall, convention center, museum, theatre, and an indoor pavilion.It is the home of the UNC Greensboro Spartans men's basketball team, the Greensboro Swarm of the NBA G League, as well as the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) with their Men's and Women's basketball tournaments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with event setup.
- Assist with Operating Timing and Judging Equipment during events.
- Assist with set-up/tear-down after events.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate.
- Basic Computer Skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
