Are you passionate about crafting intuitive and engaging user interfaces in augmented and virtual reality? Do you excel at designing immersive experiences that are both visually stunning and user-friendly? If you’re ready to create seamless interactions and guide users through virtual worlds, our client has the perfect role for you.

We’re looking for an AR/VR UX/UI Designer (aka The Immersive Experience Designer) to lead the design of intuitive, beautiful, and functional AR/VR experiences across diverse applications.

As an AR/VR UX/UI Designer at our client, you’ll collaborate with designers, developers, and product teams to create interfaces that feel natural and engaging within 3D spaces. Your expertise in UX/UI design, interaction design, and AR/VR development will be essential in crafting experiences that are both captivating and easy to navigate.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Intuitive and Immersive UX/UI for AR/VR Applications:
  • Create user-centered interfaces and experiences tailored to AR/VR environments. You’ll design UI elements and interactions that are easy to understand and naturally guide users through virtual spaces.
  • Develop User Flows and Interaction Models:
  • Map out user journeys, flowcharts, and interaction models to ensure seamless navigation in 3D environments. You’ll focus on enhancing usability and creating intuitive, fluid user interactions.
  • Collaborate on 3D Visual and Spatial Design:
  • Work closely with 3D artists and developers to integrate UI elements into virtual spaces. You’ll ensure interfaces are spatially intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and optimized for VR/AR user comfort.
  • Prototype and Test AR/VR Interfaces:
  • Build wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize interactions and test UI/UX functionality. You’ll conduct usability tests and gather user feedback to refine designs and improve the experience.
  • Incorporate Motion, Animation, and Haptic Feedback:
  • Add motion, animations, and haptic feedback to enhance user interaction and guide navigation. You’ll use subtle visual cues and feedback to create immersive, engaging experiences that feel natural.
  • Ensure Cross-Platform Compatibility and Accessibility:
  • Optimize designs for performance across various AR/VR devices, such as VR headsets, AR glasses, and mobile devices. You’ll ensure interfaces are accessible, legible, and responsive on multiple platforms.
  • Stay Updated on AR/VR Design Trends and Best Practices:
  • Continuously research advancements in AR/VR UX/UI design, interaction patterns, and tools. You’ll bring innovative ideas to the team and incorporate new techniques to keep designs cutting-edge.
