Sales Associate 1

We are in search of a Sales Associate to be part of our team located in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will be involved in various activities related to sales, customer service, and retail functions. This position offers a contract employment opportunity with a focus on customer interaction, product knowledge, and sales support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent service to current and prospective customers
• Stay updated with the latest product features and offerings
• Assist customers in finding the right products to suit their needs
• Contribute to meeting or exceeding established performance goals
• Participate in all store activities including inventory management, merchandising, marketing, and other assigned duties
• Engage in cross-departmental initiatives that may include community events and customer support
• Maintain a high level of understanding and passion for fitness technology
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to create immersive customer experiences
• Exhibit flexibility in work schedule including the ability to work during weekends and holidays as per business needs
• Adhere to all physical requirements of the job, including standing and walking for long periods, and lifting items weighing 25 lbs or more. • Proficient in customer service skills to maintain and enhance customer relationships
• Proven sales record with the ability to meet and exceed performance goals
• Ability to effectively communicate information in written format
• Demonstrated skills in marketing strategies and sales techniques
• Previous retail experience, preferably in retail stores or showrooms
• Familiarity with merchandising principles and practices
• Ability to perform regular lifting tasks as part of the physical requirements of the role
• Availability to work overtime hours and participate in community events
• Experience with sales reporting and providing sales support
• Knowledge of disability benefits and third-party agreements
• Proficient in the use of "About Time" software or similar time management tools
• Ability to successfully close sales deals
• Willingness to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting tasks
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
