Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager - Electrical Construction - Data Centers will play a key role in coordinating and managing the electrical scope of a large-scale data center project. You will support the project team in ensuring the electrical work is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the highest quality standards.

- Reston, VA will have the following responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist in the planning, execution, and management of electrical work for construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, specifications, and safety standards.
- Manage electrical contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project plans and safety requirements.
- Assist with budget tracking and cost control for the electrical scope, including preparing estimates and handling changes or variances.
- Help create and maintain project schedules, ensuring electrical tasks are completed on time.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and specifications, conducting quality checks and ensuring safe installations.
- Act as a liaison between subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and resource coordination.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and daily reports.
- Visit job sites to assess progress, provide field support, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Assist with communication between clients, engineers, and stakeholders, providing updates on electrical work progress.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- Prior experience in construction project management or electrical construction projects.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, codes, and standards (e.g., NEC, OSHA).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
