Responsibilities:
Technica Corporation is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, self-directed individual to fill the FBI ERAS Program Management position. This position will be involved in leading the technical design and execution of reverse engineering, vulnerability research and other technical FBI related projects.The successful candidate will need to have strong experience in the full lifecycle of project management (requirements, design, research/engineering, test, documentation, and maintenance). Additionally, the program manager will be interfacing with customers at varying levels of technical knowledge and will need to effectively relate the value proposition of solutions that will support the FBI’s missions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define project/program requirements, identifying all elements of cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Assess the impact of scope, schedule, and budget change requests on the task and take requisite action
- Provide input on the required skillset mix necessary to execute program objectives
- Prepare and deliver presentations to internal management and external customers, providing reviews and updates on technical aspects, cost, and schedule
- Actively manage risk factors and develop mitigation strategies
- Establish and monitor program performance metrics that ensure control of program execution and adherence to the strategic business plan
- Proactively communicate with customers to ensure they are an integral part of the project for clarification of requirements and regular assessment of implementation progress
- Ensure timely development and delivery of compliant, responsive, innovative, and integrated technical solutions and management approaches
- Establish review procedures to ensure that proposed technical work can be accomplished as described within proposed cost
- Coach and mentor technical and professional staff
- Ensure that programs and projects conduct safety assessments. Establish guidelines for ensuring that adequate workplace safety measures are in place that increase staff safety and foster a healthy work environment
- Drive development of technical capabilities, including identifying new areas to develop and shape
- Develop and maintain relationships with key technical leaders to foster project collaboration opportunities, technical skillset development, and technical quality
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Staff are obligated to adhere to these and other FBI policies and react accordingly as policies change over time. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.
The annual base salary range for this position is $157,000 - $190,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Technica considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, location, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Requirements:
- Active TS with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or other related field to Cyber; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a related field
- A minimum of 12 years total experience
- 8 years of experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in project/program management, technical management and/or business development and capture experience
- PMP certification
- 3 years of managing and leading CSfC projects
- Prior experience in managing the full project lifecycle (requirements, design, research/engineering, test, documentation, and maintenance)
- Demonstrated ability to speak and translate technical knowledge to customers with varying levels of technical backgrounds
- Proven experience growing the scope of work on existing programs
- Prior proposal experience in developing and writing the technical solution volume
Desired:
- Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or other related field to Cyber
- 8+ years experience managing FBI programs
- Proven track record of leading the technical design and execution of reverse engineering, vulnerability research, or other FBI related projects
