As a Senior Sustainability Account Manager (Senior Strategist), you will lead the strategic business development, oversee the project management and delivery of winning sustainability strategies for our Cosmetics, Personal Care & Pharmaceutical (C&PC&P) clients in the US.

This role is a blend of business development/sales, account management, relationship building & management, strategy creation, and tactical implementation. This role reports to the US C&PC&P Sector Lead and related US Branch tasks with achieving business development goals.

You will be successful in your role if you:

  • Lead the strategic talk with your clients & prospects to drive strategic business opportunities.
  • Anticipate your client needs by building a strong network at the client thanks to your strong relationship skills, your credibility as a leading edge sustainability transformation professional.

  • Youve built up relevant experience in similar senior roles, working in the strategy consulting or agency space, in business development with an interest in sustainability.
  • You have strong strategic business planning skills and a successful track record in sales and building strategies for clients. (You are at ease, in particular, to work with clients from Chemicals, Cosmetics & Personal Care, Pharma & Healthcare sectors).

AS A SUSTAINABILITY SENIOR STRATEGIST, HERES A PREVIEW OF WHAT TYPE OF WORK YOUR DAYS WILL INCLUDE:

This role includes client project work, business development activities and learning & development opportunities.

Business Development & Client relationship management:

  • Lead sales processes on your accounts, aiming to achieve sales targets co-defined with yourself and the Branch Sector Lead.
  • Grow the accounts you oversee, ensuring their progress toward operating within planetary boundaries, while identifying new business prospects.
  • Understand and proactively addressing sustainability opportunities through the client lens of competitive advantage, risk & opportunities with C-Suite level client stakeholders
  • Lead key client transformation journeys by leveraging strong, growing relationships with clients, Quantis internal stakeholders, BCG's network (our mother company), and the broader client ecosystem.
  • Support your clients in building the case for transformation and unlocking major budget for transformation development and execution
  • Lead the co-innovation of entirely new transformative proposal

Client consulting sustainability strategy:

  • Account Management: Lead and grow key stakeholder relationships, while accelerating the transformation of the clients toward sustainability
  • Project Management: Be the lead PM on some of your key strategic sustainability projects to foster client relationships, understand further your clients organization and provide advisory based on your experience & expertise. You enrure and are accountable for the quality of deliverables of projects for your clients
  • Strategic Implementation: Support the shaping and delivery of all Quantis solutions around the strategy, bringing in our expertise on science, metrics, tools, communications and more
  • Training & Mentorship: Lead and collaborate with a team and with Quantis globally; provide mentorship and developmental support to other team members
  • Teamwork: Proactively co-create with our other Quantis team members to strengthen our delivery of strategy-related services. Operate as an effective project team leader
  • Innovation: Support efforts within Quantis' innovation activities to develop a new generation of smart sustainability strategy solutions
  • Client interface: Confidently and effectively advocate for project / scope / team in face of client demands

  • Location: Boston or NYC preferred, Quantis US Headquarters in Boston
  • Work Model: Remote
  • Frequent collaboration with other Quantis branches (France, Germany, Switzerland and USA) via web-conferences
  • Optimal start date: As soon as possible
  • Travel: Approximately 30% of work time for client or internal Quantis work and conferences

Salary will be determined based on potential for contribution to the organizations success.

The compensation target is approximately $136,000/year.
