Physician ( Nephrology) - Savannah

Overview:

This position is in the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.

Responsibilities:

As a Nephrologist you will:

• Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultation services.
• Refer patients to other specialty clinics, as required, for further evaluation either on outpatient or inpatient basis to determine the best diagnosis and treatment.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays, necessary to complete medical evaluations of cases.
• Participate in the medical and allied health education programs.
• Responsible for over-site of medical care given by midlevel providers working on the Inpatient Medicine Service.
• Interface with military healthcare providers in the long-term management of transplant patients who have returned to network healthcare.
• Guide, instruct, and train trainees in the medical and allied health education programs.

Qualifications:

US Citizenship required

Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
