This position is critical in ensuring the longevity and efficiency of our machinery and equipment, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a high standard of operational performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all processing equipment and facilities.
• Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures.
• Utilize CMMS (Upkeep) to track maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history.
• Train and supervise maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize disruption and coordinate maintenance schedules.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Manage the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and manage the resolution process.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• 10+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a meat packing or processing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; additional technical certifications or degrees in engineering, maintenance management, or a related field is a plus.
• Proficiency in using CMMS, experience in Upkeep is highly desired.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop a team in a high-intensity setting.
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
