Job Overview: The Networking Administrator is integral in managing all hardware and software applications in compliance with corporate guidelines and policies.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree or college diploma in a related field.
- More than 4 years of experience in providing IT support and administration.
- Certifications like A+, Network+, and CCNA, or equivalent work experience.
- Robust experience in troubleshooting hardware and software and advanced network troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022, and Office 365.
- Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP, sub-netting, VLANs, Microsoft 365 cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with server infrastructure, SQL Server, PLC, PowerShell, VB, Python, and AS/400 is advantageous.
- Skills required include excellent English communication (verbal and written), organizational ability, time management, and critical thinking. • Experience with CAD software installation is a plus.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Providing support for VMWare servers, Cisco switches and routers, Aruba wifi, and other hardware.
- Troubleshooting software, end-users, and network issues.
- Assisting with recovery procedures and maintaining business data links.
- Implementing security measures as per the established policies.
- Monitoring and maintaining software/hardware efficiency, licenses, and patches.
- Suggesting improvements in organizational processes.
- Building positive relationships across all departments and ensuring overall ethical work environment.
Work Environment:
The role demands compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies. The need to use or wear equipment or clothes as stipulated by the company is expected. The job engages both office duties and plant floor support for a significant industrial production facility.
