Job Description:

• The Medical Clinic Assistant (MA) in the physician office practices assists the physician and other staff so the office runs efficiently.
• The MA provides direct patient care services such as routine vital signs and gathers pertinent medical history.
• The MA educates and prepares the patient for office procedures and assists the doctor in the collection and preparation of specimens.
• The MA collects the appropriate informed consent forms and prepares the surgical packet.
• Under the direct supervision of the physician, the MA administers injections.
• As directed by the physician, the MA notifies patient of test results and the recommended plan of care.

• 2+ Years of MA Experience - Required
• Travelers must have their own vehicle for assignment
• Must look into housing prior to submittal
• Previous Travel Experience - Highly Preferred
• Will ONLY take Certified Medical Assistants
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Required
• Flu Vaccination: Required

License & Certifications Required:

• Certified Medical Assistant
• BLS by AHA

Skill & Experience Required:

• Min 2+ years of experience required as Medical Assistant
• Travelers must have their own vehicle for assignment
