About Our Client

My client is an OEM for making industrial machinery such as forklifts and cranes. This will be for one specific business unit for a larger conglomerate who has 5 different locations/business units to their name. This specific role will be for one of their main product lines.

Job Description

Oversee the detailing and releasing of engineering drawings for components and systems for which you are responsible
Partner with other vehicle systems teams to create comprehensive solutions to the various engineering teams
Oversee staffing
Maximize Efficiency and optimize quality on the production floor
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Understand the ENTIRE Manufacturing Process to identify bottlenecks
Work Cross Functionally and Communicate across departments to ensure high levels of efficiency
Establish site KPI metrics to analyze local success
Implement LEAN Manufacturing principles

The Successful Applicant

4 Year degree is required
3 - 5Y+ of Engineering Management experience
Experience establishing site KPI's to analyze performance
Experience in hydraulics, drive-line, or engine installation
Mechanical Engineering experience
Masters degree is prefered
Continuous Improvement / LEAN Manufacturing experience preferred
PLC / Automation Knowledge preferred, not required

Base Salary of $135,000 - $165,000 based on Experience
