Solder Machine Operator

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of soldering techniques, excellent hand-eye coordination, and an ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform soldering operations on electronic components, including surface-mount and through-hole soldering, to assemble circuit boards and devices.
• Inspect and prepare components for soldering, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Follow detailed instructions, blueprints, schematics, and work orders to complete tasks.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure solder joints are clean, properly formed, and free of defects.
• Troubleshoot and repair soldering defects, such as cold solder joints, bridges, or missing solder.
• Maintain soldering equipment and tools, ensuring they are clean, calibrated, and in good working condition.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure optimal assembly processes and resolve any technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Document work completed, report any issues, and provide feedback on processes to improve efficiency.
