Solder Machine Operator
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of soldering techniques, excellent hand-eye coordination, and an ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform soldering operations on electronic components, including surface-mount and through-hole soldering, to assemble circuit boards and devices.
- Inspect and prepare components for soldering, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Follow detailed instructions, blueprints, schematics, and work orders to complete tasks.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure solder joints are clean, properly formed, and free of defects.
- Troubleshoot and repair soldering defects, such as cold solder joints, bridges, or missing solder.
- Maintain soldering equipment and tools, ensuring they are clean, calibrated, and in good working condition.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure optimal assembly processes and resolve any technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document work completed, report any issues, and provide feedback on processes to improve efficiency.
