What Youll Be Doing:
- Use your carpentry skills to construct, install, and repair wood and concrete forms for bridges, ensuring the project is built to last and meet precise specifications.
- Work side-by-side with other skilled professionals, collaborating to build and install essential structures that will support structures construction.
- Assist in interpreting blueprints, plans, and sketches to bring the design to life with precision.
- Install rebar and build scaffolding to support concrete pours, making sure everything stays safe and secure.
- Operate hand and power tools (saws, drills, etc.) like a pro to measure, cut, and assemble materials.
- Ensure that all carpentry work is done in line with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Take pride in maintaining a clean, organized job site, ensuring materials are used efficiently and waste is minimized.
What Were Looking For:
- Proven carpentry experience, especially in bridge or heavy construction, is highly preferredbut well train someone with the right attitude and skills!
- A solid understanding of blueprint reading and layout techniques.
- The ability to lift, carry, and move materials (up to 50 pounds or more).
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions and at various heights (elevated scaffolding, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your craftsmanshipthis is a job that requires precision and care.
- A team player who communicates well and works well with others to get the job done safely and efficiently.
- Willingness to grow your skills and take on new challenges.
