An established company in Encinitas, CA is hiring a proactive and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to own key AR functions and ensure smooth cash flow for the organization. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the finance team to manage billing processes, payment collections, and resolve overdue account balances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and distribute accurate invoices to clients at scheduled intervals.
• Proactively follow up on overdue payments, handle collection calls, and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Process incoming payments via various channels (checks, credit cards, ACH), ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
• Prepare and maintain aging schedules for overdue accounts and escalate issues to management as necessary.
• Collaborate with internal departments to promptly address billing adjustments and resolve account disputes.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives for accounts receivable workflows.
• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Strong working knowledge of AR systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookups.
• Proven track record of success in collections and reconciling complex accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills with a team-oriented mindset.
