Job Description:

We are looking for a Temporary Part-Time CAD Designer to assist with creating digital textile prints, patterns, and motifs for our collections. This position will be based in our Philadelphia office and is ideal for a detail-oriented designer who thrives in a collaborative, creative environment.

As a CAD Designer, you’ll play a key role in helping our team develop the standout designs our brand is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and revisions of textile designs, prints, and patterns using Adobe Photoshop.
  • Translate hand-drawn or digital artwork into repeatable, production-ready CAD designs.
  • Ensure designs are optimized for printing and production, following technical specifications.
  • Work closely with our design team to help finalize patterns for seasonal collections.
  • Collaborate with other designers to ensure color accuracy and consistency across all patterns.
  • Support special projects and design needs as they arise.
  • This position is to support our designers, and will most likely not include working on original design artwork, rather supporting to get it factory ready.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop).
  • Strong understanding of repeat patterns, color theory, and print design.
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into final CAD designs.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design aesthetics and trends.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Previous experience with textile design is required.

  • Part-time: 15-20 hours per week (in-person). $17-$30/hr depending on experience.
  • Flexible hours but must be able to work on-site at our Philadelphia office.
