Registered Respiratory Therapist CWR - RRTCWR24-13725

Shift: 12 hrs./day & 36 hrs./week (6:45 AM - 7:00 PM)

Pay: $57/hourly

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.

Certifications:

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care license or Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• PALS (AHA).

Responsibilities:

• Provide and administer all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment as outlined in department policies.
• Deliver respiratory therapy under medical direction, focusing on the education, treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
• Assist with intubation and manage ventilator setup and monitoring.
• Evaluate patient needs by gathering necessary information, conducting disease education, and coordinating with healthcare professionals.
• Develop a respectful rapport with patients/caregivers and collaborate with the team to support goal achievement.
• Provide and document patient/caregiver education based on identified needs in an understandable manner.
• Adhere to organizational standards of behavior and competencies.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting, pushing, pulling a minimum of 5 lbs., and standing for at least 1 hour per day.
• Maintain regular contact with medical personnel and visitors.
